CAI regularly works in tandem with the New York State Business Group, founded in 1974 to provide small businesses with employee benefits enjoyed only by large companies. Over the years, NYSBG has expanded its charter to provide benefits not only to NYS business owners, but to individual employees and retirees. Today, many beneficial programs are accessed through membership in the Business Group. NYSBG membership has been just $60 per year since 2001. Many members find that the benefits of membership far outweigh the annual cost to join!
Affordable Membership Since 1974
Annual membership dues remained at $35 from 1974 to 2001. In 2001 it became necessary to increase membership dues to $60 -that's 27 years without an increase in dues! With that increase came the addition of the Wellness Package. While all the standard NYSBG benefit programs remain available to member employers, employees and their families, the Wellness Package is available to the business owner or primary member as part of their annual dues. NYSBG, once again due to its size, is able to maintain these programs at heavily discounted costs -we pass the savings on to you, the business owner, in the form of a free benefits package.

Membership is most often joined by the business owner. For just $60 a year, the business owner receives a FREE Wellness package of benefits and is entitled to all other NYSBG benefits programs. Employees can also take advantage of all the NYSBG benefits programs. However, if an employee of an existing member company would like their very own Wellness Package they can obtain one for just $45 a year.

$25,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment Coverage: This AD & D coverage, offered through The United States Life Insurance Company in the City of New York, covers the Wellness Package recipient (under the age of 65) and provides benefits only in the event of an accidental loss of life or limb.
The Qualident® Dental Discount Program:Â Obtain services from a panel of over 3,000 dentists statewide. No claim forms, no copays, no waiting periods, and no restrictions on cosmetic services. Discounted fees are listed in the schedule of services so you know what you're going to pay and save ahead of time.
